Louisiana College Access Network (LCAN) Statewide Convening

Over the last few months, staff from the Louisiana Board of Regents have engaged with dozens of college access professionals across the state through a series of regional convenings where they have been able to share Regents goals and initiatives and discuss building a statewide college access network. To keep this discussion going, Regents is excited to formally launch the Louisiana College Access Network (LCAN) – a collaborative space for Louisiana’s leading college access experts to co-create a statewide vision for the future. You are invited to the kick-off convening on February 12, 9AM - 3PM at LSU in Baton Rouge (register here by January 24)!

SHUTTLE INTEREST SURVEY

We may organize a shuttle, depending on interest, to leave from and return to Tulane University’s Diboll Garage on the Uptown Campus as the most cost-effective option to promote the attendance and elevated voices of counselors and educators from New Orleans. We request that you consult with your org or school leader to determine if you can join the NOLA CCAN shuttle to Baton Rouge.

A minimum of 15 riders is needed to keep the cost down.

The more attendees, the more environmentally friendly and economical it will be for all, and we are hoping for a strong delegation from the New Orleans region. Let’s show up in great numbers as an existing college access network to our capitol city for the kickoff meeting of the Louisiana College Access Network (LCAN)!

Departure time/location: 7 AM

Return time/location: ~5 PM

Note: Optional parking at the Diboll Garage for the day will be available at $5 per vehicle.

Shuttle interest form is now closed.
